Dromoni is the first Georgian company to build its own fishing vessels, operating independently in the Black Sea. Our fleet is a dedicated collection of state-of-the-art vessels, equipped with the latest technologies to ensure efficiency, safety, and sustainability on the water.
DROMONI I
Our first vessel, Dromoni I, symbolises the start of a new era as the first Georgian-built fishing ship operating in the Black Sea. Renowned for its speed and efficiency, it is purpose-built for the effective and sustainable capture of anchovy.
DROMONI II
Our second vessel, Dromoni II, recently joined the fleet, expanding our operational capacity. Its construction has been made possible with the support of Enterprise Georgia, strengthening our long-term commitment to innovation in the fishing industry.
TECHNOLOGY
Ranging from 700 to 1000 tonnes in capacity, our purse seiner boats are perfect for capturing schools of anchovy. We use large nets with small mesh, allowing the nets to encircle the catch while minimising the risk of bycatch.
SAFETY
Our crew’s safety is our priority. All vessels are outfitted with safety equipment, navigation systems, and communication tools to ensure the well-being of our crew and the integrity of our operations.
